Self-Convincing is also known as Self-Persuasion or in simple words as Agreeing Self.
This important concept is used to understand the behavioral or attitudinal aspect of a person under severe surrounding atmospheres or challenges.
The concept rolls as a result of the active involvement and hence the active role of self in persuading himself or herself.
It can be considered as a conviction based on the process of one’s own knowledge, belief, consciousness, confession, understanding etc. etc.
An example of conviction is a person being found guilty of driving while intoxicated.
An example of conviction is someone completely believing they are right about something.
Conviction or Self-Convincing is a very important and incredibly valuable for a leader.
In fact, it a very strong and rare trait in a leader.
Any kind of result to be hence executed by the team is dependent a lot on the self-conviction trait of the leader. A team leader who is convinced himself first on his ideas and dream thus has his capability to visualize the entire scenario or in simple words the complete futuristic film, in terms of action plans, risks, measures, precautions, strengths, weaknesses etc. etc. to finally reach the foreseen goal.
However, it sometimes needs a fast re-adjustments to the sudden changing aspects into the Business world and hence the routines there-of.
The necessary planning and hence conviction play hand to hand for a certain ruling to be entertained with some of such short notice transactions.
A very raw, yet fruitful practice of conviction may be bringing the thought of your upheld tasks into your brain while sleeping or in other words thinking casually about the challenges wherein your conviction is foreseen to play a vital ruling.
The science says, our active brain then even works during the sleeping hours and makes you to make a tour through the entire sequence as if it really happens. Sometimes this practice works in certain cases.
However, for smart leaders the actual ball-game is to get into the entire sequence of self-conviction with deep analysis of all associated pros and cons.
It hence provides an opportunity to apply all your force of knowledge and experience to the particular case and then finally making the efforts to convince yourself.
By doing this, you are not only deeply satisfied to go ahead with a decision but also gain full confidence to pump in the same to your team.
