A very simple and yet extremely effective assistant to remember all the planned tasks to be executed, is the well-known – To Do List.
This list is practiced from a very long time and is yet a common tool used by persons, positioned at various portfolios, in different ways.
The To Do List is a list of jobs to be executed and is either prepared on a piece of paper ( which you can carry along in your pocket ), or in your daily note pad or even on the mobile ( under the notes etc. ).
It could be physical or digital based on one’s convenience and adoptability.
In order to prepare the To Do List, one needs to involve himself into a thought process to gather all the works which are needed to be carried out in near future ( may be even on the same day or on the next very day etc. ). In fact, there are also some apps and software available for preparation of such a list.
A few of them are also integrated, with a reminder option to ensure that the scheduled task into the To Do List is duly executed.
To make this list more effective, a further tailoring could be done by prioritizing the contents of the To Do List in terms of their importance or in terms of their time based requirements. ( First - to do jobs etc. )
It is basically aligning of all your agenda for a particular period in the desired fashion.
There could be more than one “To Do List” as well. The further classification of such multiple To Do List could be based on Short-term and Long-term tasks or Home-based tasks and your official tasks for example.
A habit of preparing and hence following the “To Do List” really works as a personal reminder for all those works needed to be carried out within a time-period. It actually ensures that the planned tasks are completed within the prescribed time-frame.
I would highly recommend to use such a loyal tool, The To Do List, which really improves your workability since you normally do not miss something which was supposed to be done from your end. Moreover, it increases your efficiency and productivity as well because with this list, been prepared scientifically, you need not to scroll your head repeatedly to remember what all were the tasks to be executed.
This To Do List is extremely beneficial to those persons who are too much engaged or are involved into multi-tasking. It is quite difficult for them to remember each task.
This may lead to their anxieties and subsequently missing certain important ones.
To Do Lists are your best assistants to keep the track of essential tasks.
The more you make using them for scheduling your time based strategies, the better you deliver results.
The best part of this list is that is just a simple methodic or act to write down what all you want to do and then just take them out of your brain.
This helps your mind to be free from all those associated burdens in remembering each and every task.
It therefore permits your mind to avoid too much attention towards all tasks to be carried out.
Knowing that you have prepared now such a list which includes all the tasks, you are sure not to miss them.
Thus, it makes you free to utilize your-self into something else.
The simple list helps you to escape out of a confused state.
So useful is this “To Do List”.
Try to develop a habit of preparing and utilizing, such a list for your daily plans and you will observe the clear difference in executing them flaw-less and without missing any.
I would recommend also to strike off or simply cross-out the task, which is completed instead of deleting it because this provides a review platform for all the listed jobs been completed.
The jobs which couldn’t be completed, may thus be carried over to the next list so that they are completed on the next day along with the newly listed tasks.
The To Do List generates self-confidence as well.
You gradually generate a sort of self-command, wherein you are almost sure about your work plan and what kind of engagements you have through the prescribed period.
Utilize this booster to enhance your outputs.
All the Best !
